Gabico enters into a partnership with Beijing Capital International Airport for the travel retailer goods in 2008 and introduced the top international brands into China airports; Dufry group acquired 50% stake of Gabico in 2009 and marks Dufry formally entered Chinese market; Dufry group acquired the remaining 50% stake of Gabico in 2011 and became the sole shareholder. And change its name to Dufry (Beijing) Commercial Consulting Ltd.

Dufry (Shanghai) Commercial Co., Ltd. was founded in 11th February 2010, is a wholly-owned subsidiary belongs to Swiss enterprise group - Dufry International AG. Dufry Shanghai operates nearly 25 brand boutiques in Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport terminal 2, categories include: watches & jewelry, fashion & leather, perfume & cosmetics; brands such as Hermes, Ferragamo, Bally, Versace and Bulgari, among others.
杜福睿（上海）商业有限公司成立于2010年2月11日，是瑞士企业集团-杜福睿国际AG的全资子公司。杜福睿（上海）商业有限公司在上海虹桥国际机场2号航站楼开设近25家特许精品营销店，包括珠宝手表，服装服饰和香水化妆品；品牌包括Hermes, Ferragamo, Bally, Versace and Bulgari等世界知名品牌。

Dufry group established a joint venture with China's large state-owned enterprise Shanghai Huaihai Group in 2009 and named Shanghai Huaihai Dufry Trading Co., Ltd. to operate the retail business in Chinese airports. In February 2012, Shanghai Huaihai Dufry Trading Co., Ltd Chengdu Branch was established, and opened 14 licensed brand boutiques at Chengdu Shuangliu airport in July of the same year.

In 2008, Dufry acquired Hudson, one of the world’s leading travel essentials brands famous for its convenience shops. Hudson is present in more than 70 airports and transport terminals across the United States and Canada, as well as in over 700 international locations across more than 14 countries in different continents, and annual turnover is over $1.3 billion. In 2016, Hudson officially stepped into China and formed a joint venture with the China bookstore giant Beijing Bright Power named Hudson Bright Power (Beijing) Commercial Co., Ltd. to launch the new concept of airport cultural stations in China and starting at Chengdu. Since February 2017 to the present, Hudson has opened 14 branches at Chengdu shuangliu airport and mainly sells: beverages and snacks, books and magazines, local souvenirs, travel goods and electronic products; and opened branches at Fuzhou changle airport in August of the same year.
