Located in the heart of the city on famous Nanjing Road, Shanghai Centre is the first and largest multi-use complex in Shanghai. The project is a joint development of Portman Holdings, American International Group (AIG) of the United States, Kajima Corporation of Japan, and Shangri-la Asia Limited of Hong Kong.

Shanghai Centre was designed by John Portman & Associates and built by Kajima Corporation, combining the unique design and outstanding workmanship to create a convenient, people-oriented City-within-a-city.

This vast complex offers superior standards with an unprecedented range of facilities-472 recently renovated luxury apartments; 30,000 square meters of prime office space; an upscale tri-level retail plaza; the Shanghai Centre Theatre; a trademark exhibition atrium; and a Platinum 5-star hotel.
